Welcome to MzansiDoctors.com, a healthcare platform operated by MzansiForSho (Pty) Ltd (formerly MzansiFood), a company registered in South Africa (Reg. No. 2024/595329/07). By using our website, mobile app, or any of our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
2. Definitions
- “Platform” refers to the MzansiDoctors website or app.
- “User” means any person using our services, website, or application.
- “Healthcare Provider” refers to a licensed medical professional registered on our platform.
3. Use of Platform
- You must be 18 years or older to use this platform.
- You agree to use the platform lawfully and not for fraudulent, malicious, or harmful purposes.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
4. Consultations and Services
- We connect users with independent healthcare providers for consultations via home visits, video calls, phone calls, or clinic appointments.
- MzansiDoctors is not a medical provider. We facilitate access but do not render medical decisions or treatments ourselves.
5. Payments and Cancellations
- Consultations are payable via secure payment gateways integrated with the platform.
- MzansiDoctors does not store your credit/debit card details.
- Cancellations or refunds are governed by each provider’s individual policy.
6. User Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, truthful, and updated information.
- Comply with all applicable laws in South Africa when using our platform.
7. Privacy and Data
- MzansiDoctors complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), Act No. 4 of 2013.
- We are registered with the Information Regulator of South Africa, and an Information Officer has been appointed.
- By using our services, you consent to the lawful processing, secure storage, and sharing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Users have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal information.
8. POPIA Compliance
MzansiDoctors is fully committed to data protection and privacy under South African law. We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), Act No. 4 of 2013 and have registered with the Information Regulator. All user data is handled lawfully, securely, and only for the purposes outlined in our Privacy Policy.
In the event of a data breach, affected users will be notified and the breach will be reported to the Information Regulator in accordance with Section 22 of POPIA.

- All content, trademarks, branding, and software belong to MzansiDoctors or its licensors.
- No part of the platform may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written consent.

- We are not liable for any medical outcome, delay, or failure by healthcare providers.

14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes will be resolved in South African courts.
15. Independent Healthcare Providers
MzansiDoctors operates as a digital health platform that facilitates connections between users and independent healthcare providers. We do not employ or supervise these providers and are not liable for any clinical decisions, advice, treatments, or omissions. Each provider is solely responsible for their professional conduct and compliance with South African medical laws and regulations.
16. Telemedicine Limitations
By using phone or video consultation services, you acknowledge that such consultations may have limitations due to the lack of physical examination. You accept any medical risk that may arise from remote diagnosis or treatment, and agree to seek in-person care when advised or necessary.
17. Refunds and Disputes
All refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of a missed or undelivered consultation. MzansiDoctors may assist in mediating disputes between users and providers but is not responsible for enforcing service outcomes. Final resolution and refund decisions rest with the individual provider.
